End of Week Three Weigh-In

Weighed in last night at Kaiser at 182.5, which is 3.2 pounds down, for a total of 14.6 pounds since starting three weeks ago. My home scale this morning (always less than the evening Kaiser weigh-ins) was in the one seventies for the first time in I can't remember when. If I keep on losing at least three pounds a week than my next Kaiser weigh-in should also show me having broken into the 170s which would be nice.

  1. Great job! Came across your blog as I am in my second week of Optifast. Will continue to follow you!

  2. Yay, you're not too far behind me. This is my fourth week of being on product only. Most of the time it goes OK, as long as I don't get too hungry, and remember to have a shake. I keep forgetting I'm on the diet though, and will drive by my favorite Chinese restaurant and think, I haven't been there for awhile, maybe tonight! Then I remember. But as our leader says, food isn't disappearing off the planet - this is temporary, and afterwards, we will figure out to incorporate our favorites into a healthy diet with reasonable calories per day. I'm not going back!! Good luck to you and keep me posted. ;-)

  3. Will do! I'm actually on the HP program - 600 calories a day. Same as you, though, am not hungry and feel great. Just hard to break HABITS! Not going back either. Have at least 80 to lose. Am a 57-year-old female in Columbus Ohio. Have a lot of life yet to live! Will stay in touch.

  4. 600?? Wow! I didn't know they went that low. I'm at almost 1000 (960). Yes, I'm 63 but have two granddaughters (ages three and two) who live next door. I need to be around for them as well as myself! Best wishes

  5. Thank you for blogging about this! I'm going to the informational meeting this week and am nervous. This makes me feel more informed. I hope I can afford it.

  6. I know, the cost is daunting. Remember it's mainly the medical cost that's involved, as the food cost is probably not more (maybe less) then you are spending currently on groceries, restaurants, fast food, etc. Including drinks! Good luck at the meeting. I hope you find it affordable and doable. Keep me posted!
